Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including performance management, communication, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement effective drug therapy protocols in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Review, interpret, and evaluate medication orders to identify and prevent potential or actual drug-related problems.
  • Provide education and training to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients on medication therapy and pharmacy services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication orders, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of pharmacy personnel, including hiring, training, and administering corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Active license to practice pharmacy in North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
