Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement standards and processes for document management and records retention.
  • Assess business document and records management practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver procedures, work aids, and training materials for document management and records retention.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize document and records management processes.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to departments and project teams on document and records management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain role descriptions, training programs, and metrics to communicate document and records management status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in information governance, document/records management, and business process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of document, records, and data management principles, concepts, tools, and technology.
  • Experience with SharePoint and permission management.
  • Proven systems thinking and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask in performing day-to-day tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable and willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems, such as OpenText.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with relevant technologies such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, and InfoPath.
  • Familiarity with TC Energy's Information Management and Cybersecurity policies.
