We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Sergeant to join our team at Fortiss LLC / Parkwest Casinos. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.

• Ensure the security of the casino, team members, and customers by implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers, including conducting regular area security checks and posts.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all incidents on casino property, enforcing state and federal laws, and regulations.
• Patrol the casino to identify and mitigate potential security risks, hazards, and security violations.
• Serve as the primary contact for floor personnel and management, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports for management, legal, and human resources.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders.
• Provide training and mentorship to security officers, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Communicate critical incidents and required DOJ mandatory reporting to the Security Lieutenant and Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three to four years of experience as a security officer or equivalent; one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Valid California guard card, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and firearms certification for semi-automatic pistol.
• Ability to acquire and maintain armed status as a Sergeant.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Security Sergeant will work in a fast-paced casino environment, with varying shifts and flexible schedules. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
