Culinary Specialist

About the Role:

The Dietary Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for residents, staff, and visitors at Golden Roseleaf Gardens LLC. This position requires a high level of culinary expertise and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of food is served.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food for residents, staff, and visitors, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Dining Services: Assist in setting up and taking down dining areas, delivering food to residents' rooms, and preparing and serving snacks.
• Inventory Management: Take inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Requirements:

• Education: High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience in institutionalized food service.
• Skills: Physical stamina, compassion, and patience when working with elderly residents and their family members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cook/Dietary Aide Experience: 1 year.
• Long Term Care Dietary Experience: Required.
