Interventional Radiology Technologist CV Lab Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our CV Lab team at Community Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing the site of entry, draping the patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Ensure that all x-ray images are of good quality and x-ray related equipment for procedures are maintained.
- Attend to patient needs during cardiac lab procedures.
- Circulate during procedure, as applicable.
- Scrubs during procedure, as applicable, and assist the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Monitor and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Participate in On-call per established call schedule.
- Assist in transporting patients to nursing units.
- Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedures rooms by ensuring that adequate stock is available.
- Education: Associates Degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography.
- License: Required: Current ARRT (R) and current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana.
