Job Description

As a Temporary LPN Staff member, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing required record keeping regarding resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Coordinating daily services, programs, and activities with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure quality care
- Preparing and administering medications, reviewing medication cards for accuracy
- Reviewing resident care plans for appropriateness and revising as needed
- Planning, organizing, and implementing programs to meet residents' needs
- Providing leadership and making daily rounds to ensure direct care is provided in accordance with resident care plans
- Developing and maintaining rapport with nursing staff, department personnel, residents, family members, and other stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- A current, active license to practice as an LPN in Oregon
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to nursing care facilities
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
