Avera is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion. The hourly range for this position is $37.75 per hour, and the department consists of 21 highly trained radiologic technologists. You will rotate daily between seven different rotations, including two different outpatient clinics, and have opportunities to cross train into pain clinic, surgery, and/or DXA. Exams performed at our hospital and clinics include adult and pediatric GI barium exams, musculoskeletal, and neuro exams, including but not limited to esophagrams, upper GI's, arthrograms, joint injections, myelograms, and lumbar punctures. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing ERCPs and specialized/interventional limited procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.
