Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgical First Assist ACNP or PA

Banner University Medical Group Tucson is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers (ACNP or PA) to support our Cardiothoracic Surgeons and team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the OR setting in a first assist capacity, working closely with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Residents, Fellows, and clinicians from various departments.

Position Details:
  • Full Time | Monday - Friday 7a to completion of surgeries.
  • Experience with EVH is preferred.
  • Predominantly in the OR taking conduit (vein, radial arteries), helping with prepping, draping, opening, closing, and transitioning patient safely to the ICU & other perioperative care.
  • Rotating OR call, including transplant.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years CT Surgery/OR experience (RNFA or Surgical First Assist experience preferred)
  • May consider new grads with a background in cardiac care.
  • Current Board Certification
  • Current Arizona License
  • Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
  • Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
