Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team at Baystate Dental in Belchertown, MA.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality oral hygiene care and education to patients, working under limited supervision to deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services.
Responsibilities:- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Screen patients, take medical history, and chart dental information.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
