About the Opportunity
Hamdan Resources, LLC is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team across the United States. This role will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified medical professional to provide and coordinate patient care, as well as educate patients and the public about illnesses, diseases, and health conditions. The successful candidate will work with patients, doctors, and other healthcare workers to provide high-level direct care and determine the severity of illness or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending and participating in various meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, and communication of issues.
- Ensuring proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, and requesting necessary tests and follow-up visits and referring patients to specialists as necessary.
- Stabilizing, evaluating, and treating emergency patients.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Emergency and/or Primary Care medicine experience.
Education/Certification Required:
- Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.
- DEA License.
- Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent(s) is desired.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
