Engages with stakeholders and project teams on medium to large-scale initiatives to discern business needs and devise solutions, assess opportunities based on projected business value, define project scope, and articulate requirements to support selected solutions for execution.

Facilitates collaborative efforts with both business and technical stakeholders to articulate requirements (including business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements) while ensuring adherence to corporate standards. Develops flow diagrams, use cases, user stories, and other documentation to convey business needs effectively.

Addresses production support challenges by conducting initial assessments and analyses, offering end-user support, documenting workarounds, and escalating issues to IT as necessary while keeping affected parties informed.

Contributes to the creation of test plans and strategies, coordinates testing activities, and executes test cases to support modifications to business systems.

Evaluates investment prospects and formulates assessment plans and methodologies to analyze the outcomes of each post-implementation review. Reports findings and recommends changes as needed.

Develops or collaborates on materials that facilitate user adaptation to changes, including policies, procedures, operational guidelines, business processes, training resources, job aids, and communications.

May mentor, guide, or train junior staff, oversee the work of others, provide input on performance management, goal setting, and review processes, and assist in the formulation of corporate and departmental policies, procedures, practices, methods, and standards.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in insurance policy issuance, particularly in premium calculation and policy document generation. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of insurance principles and practices, with the capability to analyze and interpret policy data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Experience with insurance rating systems and policy administration systems is highly valued.
