Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join their team in Everett, Washington. This role involves assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias) through electrophysiology procedures.

Job Description

An Electrophysiology Technician works closely with cardiologists to support the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias. They play a crucial role in preparing patients for procedures, operating specialized equipment, and assisting during diagnostic tests such as electrophysiology studies (EPS) and catheter ablations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess a solid understanding of electrophysiology procedures and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare the electrophysiology lab for procedures, verify patient information, review medical history, and ensure necessary documentation is completed.
  • Assisting During Electrophysiology Procedures: Assist electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, handle and operate specialized equipment, and monitor patients' vital signs.
  • Post-Procedure Care and Monitoring: Monitor patients post-procedure for complications, provide instructions to patients and their families, and assist in transferring patients to recovery or an appropriate unit.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of electrophysiology equipment, troubleshoot issues, and clean and sterilize equipment according to infection control standards.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician or related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures and technologies.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
