Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in San Diego County

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a mid-sized school district in San Diego County. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in our school district. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders, a California SLP license or Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential, and experience working with students in a school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Determine if new referrals qualify for services
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • California SLP license or Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential
  • Experience working with students in a school setting
