About the Role:
As a key member of the Infojini team, the RN Outpatient Surgery Specialist will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients undergoing outpatient surgery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-operative assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear understanding of treatment plans and progress.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery or a related field.
- Current RN license and BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Strong understanding of nursing principles, surgical procedures, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
