**Job Summary**

Acadian Ambulance Service is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Humble, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on our ambulance vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Inspect and repair company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Perform preventative maintenance on our ambulance fleet and other company vehicles
  • Write work tickets to document repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs as needed
  • Work collaboratively with shop employees and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Drive vehicles as required for maintenance and repair purposes

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license (Class-D required)
  • Two to three years of mechanical experience, with on-the-job training available
  • Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to use hand tools and specialized tools
  • Basic hand tools required
