Job Opportunity: Bethlehem Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for a 1.0 FTE Probationary Math Teacher position at the high school level.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to high school students, developing and implementing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mathematics and the ability to communicate complex concepts to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mathematics lesson plans that meet the needs of high school students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Stay current with developments in mathematics education and implement best practices in the classroom

Requirements:

  • New York State certification in Mathematics
  • Ability to obtain NYSED fingerprint clearance
