About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Developer to join our team at Oracle. As a Site Reliability Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering practices and IT operations tasks
  • Clear understanding of end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services
  • Experience with automation and orchestration principles, Linux system administration, and container administration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including VCS, Gitlab Runners, and Jenkins
  • Experience with developing scripts to automate software deployments and installations using Python or Bash
  • Experience working with or supporting production, test, and development environments for medium to large scale environments
  • Knowledge of cloud compute technologies and networking
  • Experience working with fault-tolerant, highly available, high-throughput, distributed, scalable systems
  • Experience operating services in one of the major Clouds such as AWS, OCI, Azure, etc.
