Meat Cutter Job Description

Greer's Markets is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for the proper receiving, handling, and storing of meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and storing meat products in a safe and efficient manner
  • Cutting, trimming, and presenting fresh meats to meet customer expectations
  • Familiarity with ground beef program, grinding, holding procedures, and handling of fresh trim
  • Filling and rotating all meat cases to ensure optimal product visibility
  • Knowledge of quality and grade of all products to ensure accurate labeling and pricing
  • Proper signing of products to ensure accurate inventory management
