We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in grades PreK-8th and be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote academic and functional success.
- Provide high-quality therapy services to a diverse caseload of students from PreK to 8th grade, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and develop effective strategies for implementation in the classroom and at home.
- Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure students meet their goals and make meaningful progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students' needs, promoting a culture of inclusivity and support.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid IL Occupational Therapist license.
