Loader Operator Recycler

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Aransas Pass, TX. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the quality and quantity of raw materials meet established standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, and to load trucks or railcars.
- Verify the amount of aggregate in storage bins and fill hoppers to ensure adequate quantity and quality of raw materials is maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance on loaders, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
- Participate in making sure the quality and quantity of raw materials meets established standards.
- Ensure assigned performance indicators are met.
- Work toward improvement of the assigned plant and surrounding area.
- Follow established environmental procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and requirements.
- Participate in ongoing minor maintenance and visual evaluations of plant and equipment.
- Work with plant manager, batch person, and other personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and may recommend solutions to improve performance.
- May haul cement and/or additives from storage area in bulk or bags.
- Adhere to all Heidelberg Materials and OSHA rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
- Meet or exceed company safety standards.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Bilingual a plus.
