Role Overview

The Personal Stylist is responsible for fostering a culture of service and sales within the store, enhancing customer relationships through personalized styling advice and tailored product selections.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Maintains a service-oriented atmosphere that ensures all customers feel appreciated and valued.
  • Demonstrates effective relationship-building and styling techniques, educating both the team and customers on the advantages of personal styling services.
  • Creates opportunities for both spontaneous and scheduled appointments to strengthen customer connections and achieve sales targets.
  • Promotes the use of technology to enhance customer interactions and encourages the team to maximize sales opportunities.

Collaboration and Mentorship

  • Fosters an inclusive environment by encouraging diverse perspectives and amplifying all voices.
  • Identifies areas for improvement in personal styling knowledge among team members and takes action to address these gaps through training and initiatives.
  • Utilizes available resources to enhance the team's understanding of apparel styling and product offerings, boosting their confidence in customer service.

Visual Merchandising and Business Insight

  • Analyzes store performance to understand consumer trends, influencing product selection and sales strategies.
  • Maximizes foot traffic and identifies opportunities for business growth through outreach and networking efforts.
  • Collaborates with the visual merchandising team to refresh displays and highlight new arrivals and popular items.
  • Ensures accountability for personal styling hours while maintaining a customer-first approach and flexibility in service coverage.

Communication and Relationship Building

  • Shares customer insights and shopping behaviors with leadership and styling teams through established communication channels.
  • Builds productive relationships with leadership and sales teams to foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
  • Contributes to a positive team atmosphere through various initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Works with store leadership to curate events and experiences that resonate with local customers and enhance brand engagement.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about the Anthropologie brand.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer relationship management or clienteling.
  • Strong interest in apparel styling.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation
