About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in our Home and Community Program, providing functional rehabilitation to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

About the Program:

Our Home and Community Program is a revolutionary neuro rehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment. Our program is designed to help individuals regain functional capabilities and promote greater health through the recovery process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations and make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members
  • Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
