Wide Effect is seeking an Advanced Non-Destructive Testing Specialist to join our team. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures, as well as certifications such as Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, and CR. They should also be proficient in report writing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate NDT equipment for inspections
  • Perform tests to detect discontinuities or defects using various NDT methods
  • Establish and follow proper examination techniques, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria according to industry standards and evaluate test results
  • Interpret radiographs, digital readouts, CRT, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
  • Compile, organize, and report test results
  • Conduct specialized inspections as needed
  • Provide guidance and supervision to less experienced technicians
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Certifications: Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, and CR
  • Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Proven ability to effectively conduct inspections and interpret results
  • Experience with NDT equipment and related technologies
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation
