Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients, including administering treatments and personal care procedures as directed by medical staff.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing personnel to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient data and report any changes in patient condition to the Nurse.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring efficient patient transport and supply management.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Level I - Nurse Aide education program approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing or passing the NC-approved Nurse Aide I competency test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current listing as a Nursing Assistant (NAI) with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
  • AHA Basic Healthcare provider certification must be maintained/completed by the end of the new hire orientation.
