Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a travel occupational therapist. As a travel occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and clients, providing occupational therapy services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients and clients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient or client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' or clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to promote functional independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities.
  • Document patient or client progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a preference for 2 or more years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
