The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a member of the Resource Pool, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical-surgical units, providing care to patients with diverse needs.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina.
- Minimum 18 months of medical-surgical experience, with a focus on inpatient care.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
