Job Description:

As a travel nurse with Tact Staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, caring for patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs. You will be working in a team-based setting, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Unit Details:

You will be working on a medical-surgical unit, caring for patients with a range of conditions, including those with COVID-19. You will be expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team, and may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.

Unit Systems:

You will be using PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems to document patient care and communicate with other healthcare professionals.

Scheduling:

You will be working based on scheduling gaps, and will be required to float to different units as needed.

Orientation:

You will receive a 24-hour orientation, which will include two shifts of training and education.

Scrubs:

You will be required to wear navy scrubs.
