Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography exams with precision and accuracy, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Document all necessary information, including patient history and imaging exam details.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Assist with mentoring and training new staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography, or preparing to sit for Mammography certification.
  • Current permit through the Iowa Department of Public Health.
  • Current validation of CPR and AED training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
