Job Summary

The Staff Level II Occupational Therapist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients. This role requires a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide a range of therapy interventions, including occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in student education and training programs to support the development of future occupational therapists.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on lymphedema management.
  • Valid state license in Occupational Therapy and certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • BLS and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
