Pharmacist - Ambulatory Care/Oncology/Hospital

The Ambulatory Care/Oncology/Hospital Pharmacist at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is responsible for all aspects of ambulatory care/oncology and hospital pharmacy.
Key responsibilities include dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications to patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
The Pharmacist provides patients with information about their medication regimen and helps ensure understanding of the medications.
Additionally, the Pharmacist advises physicians and other healthcare practitioners on the selection, dosages, interactions, and potential side effects of medications.
The Pharmacist will perform duties in the Disease and Medication Management clinic, Oncology and Outpatient Infusion, and hospital pharmacy.
While keeping current on regulatory compliance and tracking of quality assurance assessments to promote quality/continuity of care.
Pharmacists monitor the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program prior to the institution of the Pharm D.
- Incumbents must pass the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Montana.
- Previous ambulatory care and/or hospital pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Computer experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of hiring and Immunization certifications are required.
