Janitorial Specialist

Rock Solid Janitorial, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our offices, warehouses, and other building interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Custodial Work: Perform a variety of custodial tasks, including sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and cleaning carpets.
2. Facilities Maintenance: Dust and clean walls, polish stainless steel fixtures, and dust blinds.
3. Supply Management: Restock supplies, including toilet paper and cleaning solutions.
4. Cart Management: Set up and replenish carts with cleaning supplies.
5. Restroom Cleaning: Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and floors.
6. Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors, and use air freshener to maintain a clean and fresh environment.
7. Cart Replenishment: Restock carts with cleaning supplies for the next day.

Requirements:

1. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 45 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
2. Communication Skills: Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle difficult situations in a positive and professional manner.
3. Reliability and Responsibility: Must be able to follow directions and be reliable and responsible in performing tasks.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Must be able to mix cleaning solutions correctly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Working Conditions: This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
