Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for performing various security duties, including access control, enforcement of client and company policies, observation and reporting of fire and safety hazards, and conducting routine foot patrols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide access control for guests, tenants, and vendors
  • Enforce client and company policies and procedures
  • Observe and report fire and safety hazards
  • Conduct routine foot patrols in and around buildings
  • Report all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, client, and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate
  • Interact with a variety of persons, including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a valid Wear and Carry permit and Guard Card
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft office products
  • Must be able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs
  • Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience

Working Conditions

This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. The Armed Security Officer must be able to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and lift. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods.
