We are seeking a skilled Radiology Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology. This 13-week assignment will be located in New Jersey, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.

Job Summary

This role involves performing various tasks related to nuclear medicine procedures, including administering medications, monitoring patients' responses, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for transporting patients as needed and performing other duties assigned by the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members, prioritizing their needs and requirements.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Administer medications as ordered, documenting all interactions and patient feedback.
  • Evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures, adapting care plans accordingly.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to emergencies within a 30-minute timeframe if required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring adequate supply levels.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, adhering to hospital protocols.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of one to three years of experience as a Technologist, preferably in a radiology setting.
  • Certifications specific to this position may be required.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal directions.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Physical abilities include remaining stationary, moving about, lifting equipment (up to 100lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.
