This position employs various strategies to reduce losses for the organization, which include identifying theft incidents, analyzing surveillance footage, monitoring security measures, conducting audits of security systems, and fostering a culture focused on loss prevention within the store.


Key Responsibilities:

Documenting apprehensions and recoveries through detailed case reports, preserving evidence, collaborating with law enforcement, and providing testimony in both criminal and civil court proceedings.

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and executing job duties in a manner that minimizes injury risks to themselves, fellow associates, vendors, customers, and the organization.

Integrity is paramount in this role, as the associate must address asset protection and operational concerns raised by all team members while maintaining focus on store-specific business goals and supporting essential asset protection functions.

Specific roles within Asset Protection may include:

1 Full-time salaried associates are entitled to 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; full-time hourly associates are eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; part-time associates are eligible for 20 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; temporary associates do not qualify for vacation benefits.
