Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. As a CNA, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients
  • Assist with patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the RN
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
  • 6 months previous CNA experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
  • State registered CNA license required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred
