We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Middleton, MA. As a Resource Teacher, you will collaborate with Classroom Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Classroom Teachers

- Communicate transparently with parents about children's progress and achievements

- Must be at least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or GED program OR at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED OR at least 21 years of age
- Able to meet fingerprint and background check requirements in accordance with the regulations of The MA Department of Early Education and Care.

- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Must be able to work any required 9-hour shift between the hours of 7:00AM - 6:00PM, Monday-Friday (Flexibility Required)
- Able to attend faculty meetings on the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month (Flexibility Required)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib, as well as onto changing tables.
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
