Senior Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cook to join our team at Flik Independent School Dining. As a Senior Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our students and staff.

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including entrees, sides, and desserts, in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers, and perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Store and label food items according to policy and help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food supply and comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.
• Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Assist in the cross-training of employees and perform other duties as assigned.
