Job Summary: We're looking for a charismatic Host/Hostess to join our team at Denny's #7599. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests immediately and seat them in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Manage guest waiting lists and adhere to proper seating procedures.
  • Describe promotions and suggestively sell beverages to guests.
  • Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and discount transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent guest service and address any complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist service personnel with beverage orders and refills, and clear and set tables as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong product and menu knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting foyer area.
  • Ability to stand and walk during entire shift and lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to hear well in a loud environment and operate a point of sale system.
