Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and inventory levels
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
