Job Summary:

Mid Michigan College seeks a skilled Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and cleaning lab equipment, as well as assisting faculty in the preparation and delivery of lab instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and organizes lab equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Prepares lab for classes by setting up student stations, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assists with the development and revision of lab practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintains and reports appropriate lab records, including inventory and PROE data.
  • Supports faculty with the implementation of competency-based objectives and outcome measures for the program and courses taught.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by faculty members and/or the Dean of Career and Workforce Education.

Requirements:

  • One year of work experience in a professional Manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with students in an educational environment is also preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing industry and lab work environment is essential.
