We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our State and Local Sales and Use Tax team at RSM US LLP. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and use tax advisory and planning services to multi-state companies, driving business development, and serving as a career advisor and mentor to team members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert sales and use tax advisory and planning services to clients, with a focus on technical expertise and quality delivery.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the State and Local tax practice, including generating new revenue, cross-selling, and building new client relationships.
- Serve as a career advisor, mentor, or coach to team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.
- Collaborate with clients, local and regional RSM teams, and the overall RSM tax team to deliver high-quality services and drive business growth.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience providing sales and use tax consulting services in a public accounting, consulting, or law firm.
- Thorough knowledge of state and local sales and use tax laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Project management and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

RSM does not intend to hire entry-level candidates who will require sponsorship now or in the future. If you are a recent U.S. college or university graduate with 1-2 years of progressive and relevant work experience, you may be eligible for hire as an experienced associate.
Compensation Range: $137,700 - $276,700. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
