Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assisting students with their speech and language needs, aiding in their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Individualized Education Plans: Create and implement individualized education plans for students requiring speech and language support.
  • Speech and Language Therapy: Deliver speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student progress and provide expert recommendations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and advancements.
  • Meetings and Consultations: Participate in meetings to provide expertise and recommendations, and conduct screenings and consultations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Florida state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Florida Certification: Florida Dept of Education Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of special education regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well within a team environment.

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • FL State License: Valid license for speech-language pathology within Florida.
  • ASHA Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • FL Education Certification: Certification meeting all state requirements.
