RN Clinical Coordinator Operating Room Specialist

CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region is seeking a highly skilled RN Clinical Coordinator to join our Perioperative Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 17 OR suites, including our designated trauma room, hybrid room, and cardiac OR.
As a RN Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical and departmental activities, including shift charge, department, and service line management. You will also act as a liaison between physicians and patient care teams, maintaining communication and promoting cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse and possess strong leadership and communication skills. If you are a team player with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical and departmental activities, including shift charge, department, and service line management
- Act as a liaison between physicians and patient care teams
- Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments
- Supervise staff, authorize work procedures, and assign duties
- Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates
- Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act
- Minimum of one year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of nursing standards, guidelines, and regulations
