About the Position:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of clinicians who are passionate about improving learning experiences for every child in every classroom. As an Occupational Therapist with AnthroMed Education, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and develop evidence-based intervention plans to enhance their occupational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational therapy programs that align with the school district's goals and objectives.
- Evaluate students' occupational performance and develop targeted intervention plans to address their strengths and barriers.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a comprehensive understanding of student occupational performance and outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student participation and occupational performance within the school environment.
- Assess the need for assistive technology and equipment and make recommendations for its use at school.
- Document occupational therapy services and maintain records in accordance with school district policies and state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Michigan Occupational Therapy License
- Experience providing Occupational Therapy in a school setting
