We are working with Curative to find a qualified Emergency Medicine physician for a healthcare facility in western Mississippi.

Job Details
  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 6a-6p or 6p-6a
  • Availability: Around 7-8 shifts per month available, typically in 2-3 day stints
  • Credentialing: Credentialing timeframe estimated 60 days, faster for a clean background
Assignment
  • Volume: 18,000 annual ER visits, estimated 50 patients per day. Provider sees about 1/2 of the daily volume in a 12 hour shift with APC support
  • Facility: 10 bed ED, 6 bed ICU
  • Support Staff: Surgery & Uri on call 1/2 the months, 24hr APC coverage, OB, Peds, etc.
  • EMR: SCM but switching to Epic in a couple of months
  • Cases/Procedures: Will need to be comfortable with all general ER cases that come into a level 4 trauma center
Requirements
  • Certification: Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM certified with ER experience
  • Skills: ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS
  • Licensure: Active MS license & DEA or if IMLC, proof provider has already applied for license
