Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic X-ray Examinations: Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations on patients as prescribed by orthopedic physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate X-ray Equipment: Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
- Develop Diagnostic Images: Develop X-ray films or use digital imaging systems to capture diagnostic images.
- Assist Orthopedic Physicians: Assist orthopedic physicians in assessing and interpreting X-ray images.
- Maintain Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including X-ray films, reports, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Provide Patient Education: Provide patient education regarding X-ray procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
- Participate in Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of imaging and patient care.
- Certification or Licensure: Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
- Experience in Orthopedic Imaging: Experience in orthopedic imaging is preferred.
- Proficiency in X-ray Equipment: Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and knowledge of radiographic techniques.
- Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to Work in a Team: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
