Job Overview

The Healthcare Host/Hostess is responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for patients and guests. This role involves effectively communicating with patients, staff, and guests to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking patient meal orders
  • Delivering carts to the correct floor or patient area
  • Collecting trays and placing garbage and trash in designated containers
  • Replenishing floor stock with food and nutrition items
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
  • Basic food-handling skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, rotating weekends, and some holidays
