POSITION SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a host or hostess to serve as the initial point of contact for our patrons.
  • Your duties will include welcoming guests, providing accurate wait times, and guiding customers to their designated dining and bar areas. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure our guests enjoy a positive dining experience from arrival to departure. Ultimately, your goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service and a delightful dining atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests as they arrive.
  • Manage reservations effectively.
  • Escort patrons to their assigned dining or bar areas.
  • Distribute menus and introduce the server's name.
  • Coordinate with team members regarding available seating options.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area.
  • Attend to guests requiring special assistance (e.g., children, elderly).
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Support staff as necessary.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Must exhibit an upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand or walk and remain focused and alert for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
