Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Sales Professional to join our team at The Lean Way Consulting. As an Optical Sales Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling optical eyewear and contact lenses, and upholding the company's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in frame and lens selection, accurately complete required paperwork, and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
  • Sales and Dispensing: Sell optical eyewear and contact lenses in accordance with professional standards and in compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Order Verification: Verify accuracy of completed orders for eyewear and contact lenses.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain well-organized work areas, accurate store records and files, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year retail sales and/or customer service work experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, mathematical skills to accurately calculate and understand optical math, sales, and insurance payments, and ability to work independently.
Physical Demands:
  • Stationary Position: Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Lifting: Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Visual Acuity: Adequate visual acuity to product.
  • Communication: Frequently communicate with customers, co-workers, and company.
