Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Technologist at Broward Health Coral Springs, you will play a vital role in assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and physicians during these procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angioplasty with stenting and related procedures.
  • Monitor radiation safety for patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Assist electrophysiologists with related procedures.
  • Interpret hemodynamic data, patient lab data, cardiac arrhythmias, and ECG interpretation to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology program.
  • One year of current hospital experience strongly preferred.
  • Hold certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Registered), Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
